Disfruta la vida. Mika Matikainen is a designer and creative director working where craft, design and the unexpected meet. He started young, founding a digital design agency at eighteen, and his path since has been deliberately peripatetic. He has spent years between Berlin, London, Lausanne and Lisbon, earned a Master of Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship at ECAL, and completed a Global Executive MBA in Creative Leadership in Berlin.
In 2022 he co-founded Paloceras, an eyewear maison built on the belief that the everyday can be reimagined into something extraordinary. He now works from Helsinki, channelling unseen forces into physical form. Raw, sculptural and made for those who see differently.
